What You Need to Know
- It is the Oklahoma State Law you must be 18 to receive a tattoo. You may not be under age with parental consent. The law is 18 no exceptions. We do not allow minors in procedure rooms.
- We cannot price a tattoo over the phone. We cannot make an appointment over the phone. Our studio minimum is $50.
- We are open 7 days a week. We stop taking tattoos at a time that will allow us to do the tattoo, clean up and leave by the closing time.
- We take walk-ins when we can, however an appointment will make sure you have a spot on the book.
- We don’t take appointments on Saturday. Saturday is our walk in only day, the line outside starts early so if you want to get in, don’t wait till later.
- We advise you stop by the studio and look through the artists' portfolios and decide who you would like to work with for your new tattoo. This is a great time to make an appointment, get a business card and maybe even consult with the artist. You should have a good idea of what you want before you come to the studio. While you are researching your tattoo idea, take some time and print some reference material for your artist. Even if you can only find examples of what you don’t like, it will help your artist see your vision more clearly.
- To make an appointment you must leave a $40 deposit. This holds your spot and is deducted from the final payment of your tattoo. A deposit is non-refundable. If you notify the studio within 72 hours of your appointment we can transfer the appointment to a different day. We do not take appointments over the phone, you must come in and leave a deposit in person. We will hold your appointment for 15 minutes.
- If you want to have an artist get started on a design for you but you are not sure of an appointment date you can leave a drawing deposit of $40. This deposit can hold your spot on the book after you approve the artwork. You are paying for the artists time to draw, at no time is this deposit refundable.
- Getting a tattoo is not a fast process.
- You should eat something prior to your appointment.
- It is the law you must be 18 to receive a tattoo in Oklahoma, therefore we don’t allow minors in any procedure room. We do not allow unattended children in the lobby.
- If you appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol we may decline to tattoo you.
- If you have Mitral Valve Prolapse you will need to be medicated prior to getting a tattoo.
- If you are diabetic you will need to have your sugars under control and a note from your doctor.
- We will not tattoo you if you are pregnant. Based on vast experience, we have found that due to stress of healing from childbirth new mothers should wait 5 months postpartum with c-section to be tattooed and 3 months post-partum with vaginal births to be tattooed. You will end up with a better tattoo if you let your body focus on one thing at a time.
